OUR VISION
The City of Children envisions a Christ-centered, Mexico-led ministry where every child receives safe, loving, family-based care and where vulnerable families are strengthened, empowered, and restored. Building on decades of faithful service and the lives already transformed, the City of Children enters its next chapter with renewed clarity and purpose. Over the next decade, the City of Children will become a recognized national model of child safety, spiritual formation, and innovative family-based care—honoring what has remained constant in its calling while embracing new approaches, leadership structures, and partnerships—deeply rooted in the local church and supported by a healthy, collaborative U.S. and Mexico governance structure.
OUR MISSION
The City of Children exists to protect vulnerable children, strengthen families, and provide holistic, Christ-centered care through a ministry partnership between Mexico and the United States. While our commitment to loving, residential care remains an essential part of our identity and history, we now broaden our mission to more intentionally pursue family-based solutions, prevention, and restoration. We work closely with the local community, churches, government agencies such as DIF, and supporting partners to ensure that children grow in environments of safety, stability, love, and faith.
