$250,000 Match

The City of Children and our kids continue to THRIVE due to generous givers like you! We are so thankful for each and every dollar of support that you, our donors, have shared with our kids. From now until December 31, 2023, every dollar you give to the City will be matched up to $250,000 due to the extremely gracious gift of an anonymous donor! What an amazing blessing!

•  Each dollar donated will go to the Children’s Strategic Support Fund, a new fund created by the board this anniversary year to better enable the work of the City of Children by financially providing for the highest strategic funding priorities of the children being served. The Children’s Strategic Support Fund will play a vital role in providing key programming for the well-being of the children and enable the overall operation of the home. These funds will allow for nutritious meals, quality education, appropriate healthcare, and spiritual enrichment within a safe, encouraging, Christian living environment for all the children. In addition, it will fund the necessary larger projects at the home.

• Our first big project will be replacing the bathrooms in the Mediano and Mediana dorms. The bathrooms are very outdated, with little privacy, and need a complete overhaul. We also plan to remodel the staff bathrooms for the same reasons. We expect these projects to cost approximately $75,000. This cost should be completely covered by matching funds!
